OK, maybe "resetting" is the wrong term to use, but it definitely makes my connection stall.
Whenever the NIC doesn't have it's drivers loaded (Like when you first boot up, or even when installing Windows for the first time), the light on my modem labeled "PC" will keep going on and off, which is normally constantly on, resulting in my internet connection dying.
Now, what's weird is that the computer isn't directly connected to the modem, it's connected through a Microsoft MN-100 Wired router, and I really don't see how it could be affecting the modem. I didn't have this problem pre-motherboard upgrade, so I don't really know what to try. If it helps any, I'm using the nForce4 bus NIC, not the PCI based one.
