DFI RD600 vs. EVGA 680i

DFI RD600...

eVGA 680i is hit or miss in terms of stability and overclockability

if you want 680i, get an asus striker extreme 🙂

What Shimmishim said.
I have heard the Hard Drive corruption errors and the ilk have been largely fixed on the eVga board, but haven't checked their forums in a while. Might want to look at some recent threads/forums for info on the eVga. The ones older than a month were scary.

i thought these issues were fixed by the new bios?

I cant shell out the $$$ for the striker. The evga is $215AR

I'd recommend a P5B Deluxe as they can hit well over 500MHz, which your E6300 will need for a monster oc. The 680i and RD600 are nice boards but they can't hit the same speeds as the P5B.
