Seems, like they're out of stock unfourtantly. Let me know of "Reputable" dealers that have them in-stock...

What do you guys mean by "value" ram? Also concerned about compatablity with the 7700-Cu in a Lian-Li V-1200 (The case is somewhat backwards)...

 
RAM: Value RAM is good on the A64.

7700: Check with DFI themselves or on a place like DFI-Street to see whether it's compatible. (On a side note, I'd recommend getting the AlCu instead, since it's lighter and there's no real penalty versus the Cu.)

yep u are right I just order my and it was saying $157 and when I finish to order it come up to $ 159 and I remove and try again and they change the price to $ 159 well thas no bad compare to other place they are asking $249 for the ultra D and $ 299 for the SLI that is to much money . well now I can't wait to get my here .
 
great price !! i just got mine and cancelled my ncix order....it was a b*atch because ncix did NOT make it clear how to cancel an pre-order online....took me like 20mins.
Saved me the $17 s/h from canada and would've probably taken LONG shipping ground from vancouver to chicago...
 


Is the DFI mobo better than the MSI, if yes - why?

I ordered the MSI Neo4 lastweek, and I don't plan on overclocking.

I noticed that the DFI has a "2000mhz FSB," where the MSI has a "1000mhz"

no, the 2000 is only referring to the "dual data rate" which effectively makes it 2000mhz, but it is still 1000.

The MSI is a great board too. You do NOT need the dfi if you dont plan to OC. I had a MSI on pre-order too but changed my mind. BOTH boards should be very good.

Bastards changed the price from $155 to $159 ... oh well... just ordered mine as well.

Time to cancel the NCIX pre-order... ZZF is only like 100 miles from here.. so I should have the board by thursday if they ship it tomorrow.. Woohoo!

Still gotta wait for my X800XL though.. freakin' ATI shop bastards!! 🙁

It was @ $146 earlier in the week, but obviously with the boards just coming out they're not going to be in the $140s as they're supposed to be.

I'm also waiting on my X800XL 😉 but I'm in no rush as the game I'm itching to play isn't out yet...
 
I'll give you guys a little inside tip. The DFI boards love BH-5 modules. Seems they are optimized for memory with the winbond BH-5 ic's. 😉

Hehe... yes if you want to go for high overclocks,however it works fine with Crucial ram for those non-overclockers 😉.

i was looking to buy the ultra and mod it but its looking hard on getting a sli bridge... i seen on tomshardware they bought some but didnt say where.. i think im going to try to shoot them an email....

and now tax another $50 on the price for newegg.... gees....
