Hey guys, is the DFI mobo worth it if i'm not going to be overclocking? And does anyone have good recommendations for a mobo that'll work with my computer? I'm kinda on a budget. thanks.

AMD Athlon 64 3000+ (Venice)
MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum <-- considering DFI Lanparty, Chaintech VNF4 Ultra
BFG GeForce 6600 GT OC 128MB PCI-E
Corsair ValueSelect 1GB (2 x 512MB)
WD Caviar SE 80GB 3.5" SATA
NEC ND-3540A DVD Burner
Logitech Cordless Desktop LX300
Logitch X-230 2.1 Speakers
Antec Sonata (380W PSU)
Samsung 710N 17" LCD
Linksys WRT54G

If you aren't gonna overclock I wouldn't bother with the DFI board, it's still a nice board but maybe you can get a Gigabyte board which are great!!! for $20-30 less.

almost everyone that says they won't oc becasue this is their 1st build does it anyway....

but still, aside from ocing, the dfi is also stable and has nice features.

but if you are sure you don't want the dfi, the epox is nice like others have said

Yes, the epox looks like a great board. It seems to OC a bit as well (though it doesn't have as many tweaks as the DFI). It looks like a great board. I can attest to the quality of epox products with my 9NDA3+, great board. One of, if not the best OCing nf3 Ultra boards (maybe tied with MSI Neo2 Plat)...
