DFI LANPARTY UT NF3 250GB

Pardon my ignorance, but what the hell is the 250gb snip about? I was grabbing for my wallet until I realized it was just the chipset.

I know I was stoked about seeing them for that price. Specially when I'm on a budget and it goes for 10-20+ more everywhere else.

are these good for OC? i.e. ability to change multipliers, fsb separate from ram fsb, and RAM latencies?

Yes, the DFI LanParty and Infinity boards are known for their enthusiast based options 🙂

Abit is coming out with a new Socket 754 board though, that may dethrown the Lanparty. But for now, I'd say that the Lanparty is the top Socket 754 board out there.

wow, i just read through AT's review (thanks Cook1) and I'm amazed at 1) how many features it has and B) how behind the times i really am. It seems that the the techy side and the bargain hunter side of me will be satiated w/ this board and deal. Now all that's left is to find some good memory and a good deal on the sempy 3100+.

Thanks for the MrCodeDude. I never know what board is really on top since i don't what boards have come out since the publishing of a review. I looked at some really feature rich boards like the K8N neo platinum 2 and the Znf3-250. But, I think this board has got me.

I've heard nothing but good things about this board from all the reviews. I should recieve it by Tues/Wed of this week. I'm more then a little stoked 😀

I bought this board last week from a member in a FS forum, and it has met all of my expectations. My A64 3200+ couldn't hit 240X10 stable in my VNF3-250, but this board does it without breaking a sweat. I'm pretty sure that it'll go higher, but I'm pretty happy with it for now. 🙂

First I thought this was a great deal until I clicked the link to see who was selling it. The very place I told myself I would never buy from again. They pulled a bait and switch on me with a ATI video card I purchased 2 years ago... they were also almost impossible to contact on the phone, spoke very poor english, and very rude.

Unless their business practice has changed since then, but that was my experience.

I got the board, it rocks awesomeness...

I got lucky and got this bastage at Newegg during their half day 107 campaign, hehe

Man...I'm getting scared now...just ordered one and they have billed me already. Nothing on their site says anything about availabilty of products. All the negative reviews I have read about these ppl and the fact that no one answers their phone and the voice message gives you the run around.

Hold me...I am getting very scared......

If I were anyone else go ahead and pay the extra 10 dollars and get it from ZIPZOOMFLY

I've ordered from XG before - cheapest price on a retail-boxed Athlon XP at the time.. got it in 5 days with no problems. They have gotten better than they were.

It's a :QGREAT:Q board! I'm currently running a CG stepping A64-2800 at 2560mhz using 320FSB, x2.5HT, x8multiplier, 133 memory divider for 426DDR and a Thermaltake Venus 12 cooler with temps at 37c idle and 54c under load

GameVe.com also sells this for the same price.

I ordered from them, however after reading the reviews on resellerratings.com, some of them sound very similar to Xtreme Gear's comments. People receiving different model numbers than listed, poor english speaking customer service etc.

Seeing that Xtreme Gear goes under different names, I wouldn't be surprised if they don't run GameVe also.
