Hey, my first post!

I'm building two systems (one for me and one for the wife) and was looking for some info.

I know the DFI LANParty UT nF3 250Gb seems to get some really great reviews, but I'm wondering about day to day stability. I'm looking at these for the feature set (decent audio, full implementation of the Nforce chip set, 4 SATA, ect) and not it's OC'ing abilities. In fact, I doubt I'd be overclocking at all.

Will be using with WinXP Pro, 2 sticks of Corsair Value Select 512MB DDR PC-3200, and probably a GeforceFX 5900XT.

Thanks.

Well I doubt anyone could tell you a whole lot about stability at this point, since it's only been out a couple of weeks. I recently bought one, and it looks like I have the exact same memory that you do. It's been very stable so far.

its the most stable socket 754 board out and has the most features, including the highest clockability. dfi are known for their excellence in motherboards, and are among the top like asus and abit. shuttle, msi, and gigabyte are working their way up, and are also great.

The board's working great for me. But I'm oc'ing it as much as I can. However it stands to reason that a board that oc's well, will be a very stable board when run at stock (i.e. slower) speeds.

Thanks, seems like a good choice for me then! Now, if only NewEgg would get them back in stock (ETA 10/15). :)

If you have a local Fry's, they carry them now. I just picked one up the other night. 129.99 + tax.

I've had one for a few days. I'm running 24/7 stable with FSB 250, a multi of 9x, 1:1 and 2.5-3-3-10 1T. My Sandra scores are off the chart for memory. I came from an MSI K8N Neo Plat and this is leaps and bounds better. DFI did very well on this mobo.

Thanks for the replys, I went ahead and ordered two of these boards, and will be assembling the systems this weekend. I still have a question or two though.

Should I be using the Nforce drivers right off the the Nvidia site, or is there some reason I should use the ones from DFI's site? Are they tailored in anyway for the specific board, or do they cover all boards?

Is the shipping bios most likely the current one?
