DFI's socket 939 board will likely be base on the nForce 4, which is supposed to start showing up in december. The nForce 4 that is, not sure about exactly when DFI will get theres out.

Asus makes perhaps the most quality boards you can get, and gigabyte has many good points too. Why exactly should nobody buy them?

youve got me all wrong. asus is the best brand there is. gigabyte makes very decent boards. msi is what noone should get....

I think SLI boards are the ones that should be very rare before next year. Regular nF4 boards from most manufacturers (at least more than for the nF3 Ultra) should be out in better quantities.

DFI should have one out this year, although no one can be certain until it actually shows up.

looking back when companies introduced new boards there always seemed to be a lotta quirks. but they usually get them ironed out... don't know if i can wait that long... started this project back in the spring, heck if i wait till they get there stuff together there will be something else getting ready to pop out...

if youre thinking about agp then the answer is yes. if your thinking about pci like your soundcard then the answer is no. theyll come with pcie and pci slots.
