As it suggests I have a significant drop in fps while playing Counter-Strike: Source when using a DFI LANPARTY 875P-T mobo with either an ATI or an Nvidia 256MB graphics card
The cards used were the following:
BFG Nvidia 6800GT 256MB OC'ed 8X AGP Card (The card comes pre-overclocked)
Abit Ati Radeon X800XT 256MB 8X AGP Card
The fps drop only seems to occur when using 256MB graphic cards. However when I used an Ati Radeon 9800 Pro 128MB card I didn't seem to experience the fps drop.
I don't really play any other games other then Source. I also know this may be a more relevant topic for a CS:S board but considering it seems to be more hardware then software related I thought I'd start here first.
System Specs:
Pentium 4 3.4GHz w/ HT 800mhz FSB LGA775 Prescott
Kingston ValueRAM 2x512MB DDR PC3200 ( Dual Channel )
Western Digital 40GB 7200rpm with 8MB buffer/cache
DFI LANPARTY 875P-T
Rosewill 550 WATT
Windows XP Home (With SP1 & Direct X 9.0B)
