If anyone is interested in participating in the "White Elephant" competition and would like to sweeten the deal, I have a proposal.
First off, the whole purpose of the competition is to spur interest in our team, and hopefully to gain many new members in the process. I just happen to work with Insidious, originator of this competion. I mentioned to him today that I was thinking of adding a bit to the pot. I'd like to include a motherboard to the grand prize (1.4 t-bird). I am eyeing a refurb (to keep costs down) nForce mobo that just happens to run $39 shipped. Thinking of getting one for myself, for many reasons. Open to ideas if another model/manufacturer is prefered.
If anyone would like to join in and maybe split the cost 3 or 4 or more ways, we could do this and really give our team some advertising power (i.e. bring more folks in).
