Welcome folders to another edition of the DF Daily.

Today, TeAm DF moved up into 26th overall; great work, everyone. 25th'll be a bit more of a challenge, so let's keep up the good work.

Let's take a look at today's milestone makers:

TwilightZone77 has folded 2M structures! :D:D
nexus9 has folded 500K structures! :p
DeezWho has folded 300K structures! :):):)

Congrats, guys.

Top Folder: TA Covert Ops at 25.9M structures! Very nice! :D
Best Pseudo-Energy: TwilightZone77 makes his streak one longer (6 days), with his 10th place showing of 57.08!
Best Production: TA TheMagicman keeps the good work going into the work week with 1.5M (good for about 28th place overall). ;)

TeAm Stats:

The TeAm has moved into 26th place today. Those in 25th (Sun Microsystems) actually passed us by about two weeks ago. Our production's better than theirs, but we're almost 8M back, and it'll take us about 6 days to overtake 'em. Currently 24th place are about 12M ahead of us, but we should be able to overtake them in about 4 days. So one week should bring us into 24th overall. Not bad!

Daily Production: TeAm Anandtech slides back 3 places into 14th! :(:Q:( Sure, TA TheMagicman hits his work week and we lose 1-2M, but that's no reason to slide back so hard. I've got to admit that one of my comps went a bit offline today (now got a 1600+ running at 1575, roomie's got the old 1400 Thunderbird... got to OC it for him, and it's running DF, of course), but we've all got to do what we can to maintain and improve our production! Let's see some added effort for tomorrow!

Remember, apparently there's a protein change going down tomorrow, so check your clients (and your stats) to make sure that you're working on the right protein. If you're pretty sure you've uploaded more than 20K-30K units, and your pseudo-energy is still at a 99.9999, it's probable that you're working on the old protein. Run the app in console to check (it should update when you run it in console - stop the service to do this, though).

Alright, see ya tomorrow DF'ers.

Thanks for the DF report m0ti

I think that the biggest challenge will be beating OC Workbench as their production is phenominal. If I read the chart correctly they are churning out 46m structures per week. But by the time we reach them there will be no stopping us.

I wonder if DF will lose its fun when we reach the top? It is obvious that we could burn everyone on that list up to the top three. Then it would take a while again.

I'm folding as fast as I can here. Wish I had a better way to monitor network clients but KDFold does the job. Just harder to use than something that passed work and held stats instead of just monitoring the current progress.

Will be nice to payback a team that passed us a few weeks ago (Take that!).

Congrats to the milestone makers and especially TheMagicMan with his HUGE production! I thought I was going fast 'till you went past me like I was standing still! :D Way to set the pace!

Thanks m0ti!

On the fact that Anandtech is taking part in so many distributed projects, I see that you guys are doing pretty well in DF, we are waiting for u... :)
