Eh - opener should be "boring" [that's Dexter attitude - emotionless and boring] because his wife died - the episode sorta gave closure to let Dexter move on. Was interesting to see how he finally reacted to Rita's death in the bathroom - for once he couldn't "fix it" which was very frustrating for him [plus he killed an assumed innocent man even though he as an arsehole and deserved it]

Maybe we needed to see what he did with the man in the bathroom or the guy he was waiting on the cafe during the flashbacks? 🙂

Dexter is just becoming ridiculous. Practically every character in Homicide has either fucked a serial killer or fucked someone who was serial killed or is a serial killer. And Dexter is constantly killing serial killers. How many freaking serial killers are there in Miami? Are they importing talent from other cities?

And the characters are freaking dying faster than they're being replaced. This show will be out of characters in 2 more seasons.

Oh, and I'm almost positive that the nanny will end up being a serial killer too. Or at least, she'll end up on Dexter's table, since apparently you can hardly talk to the guy before you end up getting serial killed in some manner.

That logic is probably inline with the Korean War lasting 11 years or 50% of Jessica Fletchers friends being murdered.

This last murder I find really hard to believe. You mean to tell me they were both admitted to the hospital without any patient information - name or anything at all? And then the guy is now dead and missing and Dexter was the last person to see him by going to the hospital in an ambulance with him and that won't raise any red flags at all? I dunno...

The only thing that could save this part is both were knocked out and drowsy. So they could not get anything out of them personally until they were fully awake but then again they each have wallets.......

The problem with the last episode is that the tranq dart and the stuff desxter uses are very different. There's no way they would have woken up at close to the same time.

They went over the effects of the drug Desxter uses in season 1, it leaves them paralyzed after gaining consciousness. Theres no way either of them hopped up to their feet and ran out of there.
