Diversity is irrelevant from a business standpoint. They are trying to make money, not please you. And besides, Blizzard proved diversity means absolutely nothing. Every game they made was a copy of a previous game, sometimes lower quality even.

I agree, but that is totally irrelevant from what I said.

I said that shouldn't you, as a customer, want diversity?

You being YOU, the customer. Why would any customer want a less diverse pool or products to purchase from? Why would you want DMC to become GoW? Unless you just don't care about gaming.

Westerners do like GoW more though. It's easy for them to swallow, like Gears of War.

So, just the character looks gayer now? That is westernizing? I think Capcom is trying to hint at something "Western" world.

And zero gameplay footage makes me sad, as usual. At least Capcom won't drop the ball on MvC3.
 
Goodbye Devil May Cry, it was nice knowing you. At least we still have Platinum Games for Bayonetta and Team Ninja for Ninja Gaiden III.
 
The guy in the trailer in no way, shape or manner looks like the Dante we know plus the lame character design of enemies continues. Asura's wrath kind of stuff should have been in the DmC trailer. Capcom don't throw one of your iconic characters into obscurity by some silly makeover.
 
This sucks. DMC is one of my favorite series (ignoring #2) but I think this is the end. Character looks retarded and Ninja Theory is a shitty developer.

WTF made capcom think the makers of Heavenly Sword could make a good game?
 
Well, From that video I am hoping for one of two things to happen.....

First is I hope it is a prequel to Devil May Cry 2 which had a different story line, and this one looks that way as well. And second....How do really know that the guy in the trailer is Dante ? It showed him standing there on the ledge, and a voice said, "My name is Dante" but the characters mouth didn't move. So that is what I hope it is anyway. Unless its just a teaser and thats why his mouth didnt move.

I dont know, just hoping for something I guess since I love the DMC series.

Of course, at the end it says DMC....and a 5 isnt present.
