I have around $400 (100,000 hungarian forints ~= $420) to spend on a laptop/notebook/whatever that will be used mainly for programming. A convenient amount of screen space would be nice, but smaller screens with higher resolutions will work too (to a point, obviously). Other than that, a fast CPU and plenty of RAM is a plus, and I'm not sure if I need anything else that isn't standard issue.
Got any tips on what to get for a pleasant programming experience?
