You do realize there's a difference between (A) a prediction that "it won't turn up anything" from (B) an excuse not to do it, and those 2 things from (C) being ambivalent about the results if the "doesn't turn up anything" prediction is false.

There can be a difference, yes, but in this case there usually is not.

As far as Slow though he's explicitly stating he doesn't care to find out either way.

So why did he run with it? If there was insufficient evidence after the story was run then we can be pretty sure there wasn't any before that point.
No, 'we' can't.

You however claimed the story is false when you have no idea if it is false or not because you have compiled no evidence.

^^^ This.

Don't make excuses and have the integrity that O'Donnell showed - admit you made a mistake.

^^^ And THIS please.

Once again you are ironically doing exactly what you accused this guy of.

^^^ And, of course, this.

Eski, any appreciation of irony requires a more developed understanding of nuance and logic than . . . some . . . possess.

And any admittance of unintended self-irony requires insight and . . . honesty.

I guarantee you the conservative interest in journalistic integrity is not genuine.

As shown right here.

I saw the show the night he released this, he definitely said it was just a rumor, not verified.

Multiple times, including being based on a single source. He was very candid about it. Kept saying "if true".

The retraction is entirely based on it not being multiple sourced. I'm positive there are ongoing efforts to rectify that.

The problem wasn't necessarily with what he said it was how it was interpreted by the TDS suffering fucktards. They heard what he said, applied the fucktard logic (e.g. 1+1=92) and ran with it forcing him clarify, retract and apologize. Although it was good that he did, he doesn't deserve any accolades for the retraction. It was a completely avoidable, stupid mistake that should never have happened.

It's strange that you're so obsessed with calling other people stupid considering you don't seem to be particularly bright yourself. Is this something you worry about?

You really should brush your teeth afterwards.

What I think is funny is that the usual conservative excuse for not undertaking basic due diligence in regards to corruption is that it won’t turn up anything. Ie: ‘it’s not like how taxes are going to say $1 million from Putin!’ What Slow is saying here though is that he wouldn’t care even if it did.

Always good when people like him show they put their tribe before their country.

Slow is a Russian. He is putting his country first.

Thats a play on the indictments thread right? You remember how that turned out? Need help crossing the street old man?

Comment above the one you quoted.

About the Pee Tapes showing up.

My response: Any day now........................................

I hope this helps as you seem to have trouble adding 2 + 2.

Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know how much stupid you are going to get.

This isn't like the pee tapes, dipshit. Every public official in the US is legally required to make appropriate financial disclosure, especially regarding potential conflicts of interest. The only reason Trump is getting away with breaking the law here is because he believes the President is above the law. And he is enabled in that regard by useful idiots like yourself, who obviously don't even know what the adults are talking about here.

You don’t have to prove the story is false to not credit it, but you do have to have evidence it is false to claim it is false as you did. Why not show the same integrity as O’Donnell?

As for Trump, he would be laughed out of court if he tried to sue over this. He would probably end up paying legal fees for O’Donnell on top of it because the lawsuit would be so frivolous so unless you want a big payday for some lawyers you better hope Trump isn’t dumb enough to follow through.

If that was true, O'Donnell wouldn't have backpedaled.

If that was true, O'Donnell wouldn't have backpedaled.

Thanks for inadvertently showing how unethical you are - the only reason you can imagine someone saying they shouldn't have run something is fear of a lawsuit instead of professional integrity.

Trump will not sue him and if he does he will lose badly. I hope he does though because it would be funny to watch Trump cough up attorney's fees for a frivolous lawsuit, right?

If that was true, O'Donnell wouldn't have backpedaled.

No backpedaling found. O'Donnell said it was unconfirmed when he reported it & also said he shouldn't have done so w/o confirmation.

It's amusing how Trumpsters demand greater integrity from the media than from the President who lies continuously.

Awww. Is a Progressheviks accusing someone of being a Russian? It won't matter as we get closer to the election because the Dems will start getting real cozy with China.

shut up. "pregressheviks" lol. Your team sided with russia to own the libs. You are the worst kind of human being.
