i dont know what is wrong with this damn game.....i bought it only because everyone is raving about it....it seems to work too slowly on my comp...frames and the video is very jerky....ut and q3 run very well on my system at around 60 fps....here's my system setup. celery 466, 256 mb pc 100 ram, 8.4 gb 5400 rpm drive, asus v6600 geforce 32 mb.....does this game require more than this???....I think my system is good enough ..anyone else having this sort of a problem.??

Download and install the Beta D3D patch from Ion Storm.

Also, if you can stand it, bump the resolution down to 800x600 or even 640x480 *shudder* :Q

The game doesn't run too well on Geforce cards. Turn world texture detail down to medium, and see if that helps any. Running in 16 bit color should help a great deal too

I went from a P2-400 to a P3-800, both with my 64MB geforce gts. What a HUGE difference!!! It was like night and day. I can't even begin to describe what a diffence the CPU made. UT worked well on both systems. Deus Ex looked like my butthole on the 400mhz machine. It looks great now.

My boyfriend has a GeForce card, he can't even run Deus Ex. It freezes somewhere during the introduction. But it works fine and run smoothly on my old Voodoo3 3000.
