Deus Ex for $3.00. Good buy?

My local MicroCenter has a game pack with Quake II, some sh!tty Tomb Raider game, Shadow Force and Deus Ex for $3.00. Since I already have Q2 and the Tomb Raider games are god awful as a rule, Deus Ex is really the only one I'm interested in. So, should I go for it?

YES! Deus Ex is one of the best FPS games ever, IMO.

I dunno, pretty risky investment.....

I don't care about the $3.00. I've only heard bits and pieces about the game and want to know if it's worth my time to play. And apparently it's very worth my time. 🙂

Hmmm...I thought Deus Ex was released on a free CD in some gaming magazine. Ah well, carry on...nothing to see here...

Tombraider was the first rpg/adventure pc game I ever bought. I didn't know anything about it beforehand, I just picked it up. I've liked it ever since.

The original Tomb Raider rocked back in 96. II was also quality. Three was more of the same, but with some more vehicle action. They just lacked innovation off of the original design and ultimately fell behind.

Now that you mention it, yes, that is the case. It was in December, but I don't recall what mag released it. I wonder if it's available for download somewhere, maybe at an Abandonware site.

Get it. You'll either think it's one of the best PC games made or just think it's bleh. For $3 it's worth finding out if you like it.

It might have at one point. It was often bundled with video cards

Deus Ex is better than Deux Ex 2. Id say buy it if since you never played it.
