Looks like this could be their first win...Tigers up 2-0 in the bottom of the 4th. Of course anything could happen in 5 innings.


Does anyone have the scoop on why Gibby's not in the booth? I missed the first few Detroit games, but the games I have caught he hasn't been announcing. Didn't he come back?
 
My poor Tigers. This could be their night to turn it around.

Well nobody can say they don't like the Lions, because this Lions team has never seen the field before.

wait. i just realized that the tigers are playing the devil rays. the wins don't count. the devil rays are quite possibly the worst team in the league, and they are proving it against the lowly tigers. 😉

You guys do realize that the Lions lost their first 12 games before winning one. Assuming that the Tigers win tonight (7-1 now) they'll only have lost their first 11. 😀
 
The three bears had some trouble and ended up in family court. Momma and Poppa bear were splitting up, and baby bear had to decide who he was going to live with. So, the judge wanted to talk to baby bear to see what he thought about living with either of his parents.

When he asked baby bear about living with his father, baby bear said "No, I can't live with Poppa bear, he beats me terribly."

"Okay," said the judge, "then you want to live with your mother, right?" "No way!" replied baby bear, "She beats me worse than Poppa bear does."

The judge was a bit confused by this, and didn't quite know what to do. "Well, you have to live someplace", said the judge, "where do you want to live"?
"In Detroit", said baby bear, "they don't beat anyone."
