So, who will the Pens be able to hang on to? Is the team going to be dismantled b/c of salary demands?

We'll take Hossa, Malone, Roberts, and Orpik.

What the fuck? I was being serious and you come back with shit like that?

And, you don't think I was being serious? Those Pens along with maybe Talbot really caught my eye.

Good series detroit. Clearly the better team won... I still think the pens could have stolen it though had a few bounces gone the other way.

The refs certainly tried hard enough to get the Pens to win 😛

I kid I kid...

Really though, the Wings played better but Pens are definitely a good, scrappy team.

Yo, there isn't a stickied thread at the top with over 1000 posts in it. Don't worry, don't look... its not there.... really...

oh yeah 12 million posts, I'll be up to speed on the discussion come next playoffs

the wings won... heres my empty shallow congrats...

I must say...
Theres a whole different style of hockey between the conferences... The east plays a more open style of play... the west plays obstructive hockey...

There will be more rules changes again in the rules to open it up further. And every person who touches a goalie in the process of crashing the net will be penalized. Maybe finally they will get it right.

Lol, gotta love how they already have shirts, hats and DVDs ready 15 mintues after the horn sounded....

MOICHANDISING!

A friend of mine was at Game 5 and they closed all of the stores at the Joe with five minutes left to "restock".

🙂

LETS GO RED WINGS!

Please Pens fans show some class and don't boo the Soviets when they win the cup.

You first.

And I'm a Wings fan by the way.

😕

The Red Wings sweaters (at least their home ones) really remind me of the Red Army team.

Text

Tretiak has zero Stanley Cups.

Osgood has three.

Great series, in the end it looks like the Penguins ran out of gas.

crap, they looked like that from game 1. they couldn't get the puck in without being challenged by at least 1 Detroit player. whereas detroit would skate right on in, with the pens giving them a great deal of space.

And it's boring as sin to watch.

There will be more rules changes again in the rules to open it up further.

I hope so.

Congrats to the Wings.

I figured they'd win this from the start, as they are a much deeper team overall.

Good series though.
