Considering the Avs played the worst game I can remember them playin in recent memory, or really what was just the worst period. The fact we had no Forsberg, and pretty much no Theadore. Having Wojtek Wolski, who has been magnificent so far in the playoffs, sidelined early with an injury certainly didn't help. The feeling that the refs were calling things in favor of the Wings for most of the game.

And despite all that we nearly came back. Had great opportunities in the third to tie it up. Yep, that is one loss I can deal with. Just hope Forsberg is back soon and Theadore is feeling better come Saturday. Wolski would certainly be nice to have back as well.

EDIT: Seems both Wolski and Theadore are planned to be back on Saturday, I hope Theadore really was sick and thats what made him play so poorly.

I forgot to mention I got 2 tickets to game 4 on Thursday 5/1. 14 rows up on the two attack side of the stadium. They're normally $170 (after all the fees) and I got them for $135 through a friend. This will be the first time I've had such great seats for a playoff game, I usually opt for the cheap seats.

That is definetely the truth, what game were they watching any way. I can understand the missed call but they have to review this. This was the absolute most blatent miss-call in the playoffs so far. And to think I used to believe the NHL was one of the least Biased organizations in sports. They're getting as corrupt as the NBA

I looked at the replay at NHL.com and it looked like the puck was below the crossbar when it was hit. The blade of the stick is at least partially above the crossbar, but the puck and the shaft of the stick (which is what was used to hit the puck) is below crossbar level.

I don't really care who wins the Pitt/NY series...but that looked like a high stick on that goal for the Rangers. It seems like Toronto is missing some calls this postseason. Or is it just me? Pretty odd. at least its a good game though.

No doubt. When we're watching the games at home on TV, everytime the STARS score, we start chanting Turco.. Turco.. just to taunt the taunters. 😀

It's going to be tough for the Avs. Theodore isn't making the saves he made against the Wild. Pulled for the second straight game. It's in his head now. Sweep? Possibly now.

I knew he had been since the playoffs started...didn't pay attention before then. So when i said he was on fire, i meant for the entire playoffs...not just this game.
