I'm a Red Wings fan that lives in Atlanta. I support the Thrashers and am a season ticket holder, but I was born and raised a Red Wings fan.

Nice try though.
 
I figured you would be. Practically anyone that lives in a city with a horrible team goes for the wings.

Yeah.. I guess growing up in Michigan and living there for 23 years shouldn't count for anything. I should probably just abandon my favorite team because the city I moved to has a pro hockey team.

Maybe you missed the part where I said I grew up a Red Wings fan. Very convenient for you and your "point".

I don't like the Avalanche. As a Red Wings fan, I like seeing them lose. I am fairly certain you feel the same way about the Red Wings.

And you are the one who tried to be all smooth about assuming that, because I live in Atlanta, I am a Thrashers fan. Calling someone out like that could be considered provoking someone, right?

Passing judgement based on 100 words posted by someone on a public forum seems like a much bigger character flaw. Maybe if you would have read this thread you could have saved yourself a lot of time and trouble. It's obvious that I am a Red Wings fan. Apparently not obvious enough.

Actually, I've been hoping the Wings win and make it to the finals along with the Avs. Its about time something rekindled the rivalry.

I believe the provoking began when you implied I was homosexual. Perhaps I read too much into that, but still a pretty nasty statement to make. The Divealanche would have been sufficient.

Oh and it didn't take 100 words. Those first 3 were quite enough to give a peek into your character. Oh and its a good thing I "did" read the thread. You know, you going for the caps in the east and if not the wings the sharks in the west?

Then why would you jump on me and question me regarding the team that I root for? And you would have also known that those weren't the first three words I posted in this thread.

I have been calling the Avalanche the FAGALANCHE for a long time. You taking that as me implying that you are gay is your problem.

I'm done arguing about this ridiculous stuff. Sorry that you took my comment the way you did, but if you are going to get that bent out of shape when someone makes a deragatory comment about your favorite hockey team, then maybe public forums aren't for you.

A couple bounces finally went the Wild way tonight...unlike in Game 1. it was a hell of a game..and i don't see the series going less than 7. Hopefully we'll get Parrish back on Monday and Radio will be alright.
 
Go Pens! 4 picture perfect goals to ottowas 3 garbage goals They were lucky it wasn't 15-0 after the 2nd period. The only one who is keeping them in this at all is gerber, even if he has let up 8 goals.

Unfortunately I haven't found any. The VS telecast went straight to the Avs game after that so no replays. NHLTorrents has the same VS feed. If I find the TSN feed I'll look for it. Too bad it was on this side of the ice.

At least you got to see the end. Here in MN, because the game was on locally, they blacked out Versus at 830 local time. There was like 10 minutes left in the Wash game when they blacked it out. :roll:
 
Okay mpitts and other wings fans...i don't get it. Best team in the league (according to record), most goals, #1 seed in the playoffs...Saturday...and you can't fill your stadium? WTF is up with that? Is it because no one wants to go into Detroit because they are afraid of being shot? is it because they are playing the Preds...and Detroit fans can't be bothered to go to a game against such an unknown team?

I'm really trying to figure it out. Enlighten me please... ?
