Draft scheme: Left Offensive Tackle, defense, defense, defense......

Take a bad team and find out that it is filled with players that are not geared for the type of defense you want to run so cast off somewhat talented players and bring in castoffs from other mediocre teams that were barely OK in their prime, but now couldn't get a job anywhere else = Detroit Lions.

what hilarious about the lions, any of the lions players. When they go play for some other team, they seem to play so much better.

I dont know whats uglier, the Lions play or their uniforms. I mean, they're just plain blue and gray, are they trying to save money or something? They look like they're borrowed from a pee wee league.

WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS HALFTIME SHOW

IS THIS FORREAL?!?!

Decisions like this are way DET is FTMFL

My god, this would be -10 fantasy points

name 3. What was so "special" about matt millen is that the guys he drafted/signed/traded for were so complete crap that they were usually cut or benched by their new teams. Dre Bly, Shaun Rogers, and Roy Williams are the only ones I can think of that actually gets burn for the new team but they were pro bowlers and they all haven;t been all that good.

47-10 final

that was the worst Lions performance I've seen in years. I don't miss many games. 0_0

The Lions had the esteemed privelage of being the team the Titans played after being flat as hell 4 days ago. I had a feeling this was going to be ugly.... and not because we were playing the Lions.

Calvin Johnson deserves so much better.

At least he's being paid. And he doesn't get any of the blame for the Lions sucking so much. Pretty sweet gig.

Dre Bly and Roy Williams are a little better than average these days. Shaun Rogers is the real deal if he could play more than 50% of the snaps he'd be pro-bowler every year. Jeff Hardings is the only one that went on to be a force.

To hell with tradition. The Lions need to be yanked from the Thanksgiving day games untill they can field a team that's competitive.

Well, the Lions can possibly beat Minnesota. I don't see them beating the Colts or the Packers (in sub zero temperatures on the road). The Saints? Maybe there too. Personally, I hope they go 0-16, because only then will the management actually realize its time to make MAJOR moves. Maybe then William Clay Ford Sr. will fire himself.

Well, 3 games left.. what I find really comical is that the Lions were 4-0 in the preseason 🙂 Those games are a joke.

I usually take it as a bad omen when my team does well in the pre-season. Usually the steelers do much better in the regular season if they suck in the preseason.

Actually, I wouldn't even call it an omen. There is a practical explanation to the reverse correlation of success.

A team that is well built and has a lot of returning players already knows how it'll perform. Instead they'll be testing 2nd and 3rd stringers for most of the game and keeping their pro-bowlers from getting hurt.

A team like Detroit has chicken scratch to start with and needs to see how it's 1st team will end up playing.

ONE MORE TO GO!!!!!

Their last game of the season is on the road against Green Bay. All signs point to FAIL.
