I find it ironic that everyone here wants to defeat the source of income of this place. I mean, this site isn't free to operate and you don't pay a fee to be here. What does it hurt for a banner to be shown or a referral link to be used?

Though to be honest, it was posted up on top as a sticky a little while back before it was implemented, so it wasn't without warning.

Referral links seem fine to me in principle, a good idea except it seems dynamitedata either isn't stable enough or has insufficient capacity to handle the traffic... so I suggest disabling it until a more reliable service can be selected.

Hmm, 8 minutes later and working ok for me now... but I noticed some internet congestion to other 'sites earlier, maybe it's the routing to blame sometimes.

Sadly, I'm pitching it again for those that may have missed it above.

Use Firefox, install the Greasemonkey plugin for it, download and install this script that I wrote. All URL's are then stripped and re-written without any of the DynamiteData crap... in their raw unadulterated form.

thank you sunnyd

most of the time the links don't work now. i have to keep hitting refresh a few times before they actually go through. its annoying to say the least

Bumping this because the issue is still present. I have to fix my links every so often because they keep breaking.

id like to quote this because its a major fucking annoyance. quoting links gets fed over by it as well as editing your own posts
