My benchmarks went from a 6976 to a 7216....simply amazing.

Do the Detonator 40's still have problems with games? Last time I installed the Detonator 40's, BF1942 had many artifacts. =(

I think the new drivers do nothing to the benchmarks in 3dmark2001 except for the image quality score which is a big boost i hear. If that's true then thats a little shady of nvidia...because arent they touting 25% increase in performance?

Doin' OK on them here.

If you are OC'd to the limits and then the 40's run a little "faster" (pronounced: use resources differently/more efficiently), that might explain the artifacts. (although I am not sure CS is the best benchie though.... It's pretty old and has a proud history of wierdities through it's long existance)

It's nothing like artifacts, it's just that CS won't load properly. I can hear everything going on, but all I can see is my desktop at some really low level resolution (whatever CS happens to be at)
