detonator 4 and geforce 2 only - is there a point?

I know there are a lot of other threads running, but it seems clear that the Geforce 3's are pretty much happy with it. I'm sure there a lot of others who wonder if a Geforce 2 or mx would see any benefit and don't want to wade through all the irrelevant info about the 3's.

A question, why is it that the testing done here at Anandtech on the prerelease det 4's showed an improvement across the board, while so many here are having troubles? How many people are having few or no problems on Geforce 2 based cards?

I upgraded from 12.xx to the Det 4's and got a 300 increase in 3dmark 2k1. This is about a 10% increase from before.

I'm running Windows XP and it royally screwed my system for about 25 minutes. It locked up my comp on re-boot everytime. I hade to get to safe mode and uninstall, then reinstall again.

Anyway. The drivers work great and I'm happy with them. Now if I could fix my refresh rate problem once and for all, I'd be reallly happy.

No problems here with the new drivers on my GF2 MX card,I got a speed increase with them,stability wise same as before which is solid .
