Can't quite tell by your picture, but on my SUV the same thing happened. Underneath though, was shiny aluminum, so I just scraped the rest off. Frankly, I like it better, (bling). You could mask it off, and use Plasti-Dip spray. Do not make the same mistake that I, and others in this thread have made, Back to Black, and products like it are CRAP, A TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY!!!! believe me, I've tried them all. Let me tell you a little known secret that will make any rubberized surface on your car look like new, AND LAST!!!
I applied this stuff on my bumper guards, side steps, and tailgate a year ago, and it still looks good.
