det4's and 3dmark2001 problem

I'm getting an error when running the 3dmark2001 (default benchmark) thats says it cant enable the hardware accelleration. It comes during the second test.

I get no errors when running dxdiag tests.
I have gone back and changed to standard vga...then reloaded the det4's. Same error.
I'm running a PIII, with WinME and a Elsa GeForce Ultra (not overclocked), in 1280x960, 32 bit depth.

Sorry if this a repeated question. I remember seeing this mentioned a while back, but with all the posts about the det4's, i couldnt remember which one contained the responce to this problem.

Other than 3dmark2001, everything else seems to wrok fine. 3dmark2000 gives me a slight increase(7345 to 7690).

thanks

I have the same problem, but the first test that runs runs much better then before.
For some strange reason 3d-Mark wouldn't run well on my machine with the old drivers (12.90) either, I have a GF2Pro oc'ed to the speeds of an Ultra, and I only got about 2500. In the first test (the one that works with the new drivers) I only got 11-21 typically, now I get 68-94 fps, a large improvement.
Will get the 2000 version and see how that works, but I would like to get the 2001 version to work.
