Det 4's up for the taking...

Must be a rush again as I just lost the site for the third time this afternoon while trying to get the drivers. 😉

We know, Dark... We know. We don't know WHY you hate Intel, but we know that you do. Nor do we know why you felt the need to express that in this thread.

Nvidia site is back up, of course they are showing the 12.41s again so it must be the backup server......maybe they should have used Intel equipment instead of Sun. 😉

Got my files directly from their FTP site- 21.81

YEAH, I found that they had the old ones first, bu tnow I think they have the new ones online....since I am d/l them now.

Well I D/L from Nvidia, both 98 and XP
Server was hurting cause d/l maxed out at 7.7K
D/L stopped several times - I dont like that - but I guess "resume" was operable for the dl.

And so, I have five boxes sitting on my desk here, the "slowest" a PIII 1GIG Aopen Pro266, and I decided to try the driver on this system.
This rig has so/so mem bandwidth (383/450), and gets 4184 with 3dMK2000 - not too hot (GFTS2 32MB DDR) at 1024X768 -16. Loaded drivers and tried madonion, got kicked out to desktop during 3rd helicopter run. Never had that happen before. Then I remembered there was DirX 7.0a on this machine. So I loaded up 8.1.362 DirX and tried again. Got 5817. Not baaad! (Win98SE)
Next machine up: Shuttle AK31 AMD 1.4 Geforce2Pro (PNY)

<< maybe they should have used Intel equipment instead of Sun >>

Actually they are running Intel/Windows2K/IIS 5 😉

Anyways, logs right into their FTP and skip the website, worked like a charm for me.

ftp1.detonator.nvidia.com/pub/drivers/english/Windows/
