det 4 + winxp 2600 = blank screen

i have a elsa geforce 3 running windows xp 2600 and when i load these drivers, i get a blank screen when i get into windows. I can see the windows splash screen still (i think the drivers arent loaded yet thats why) but when i get into windows, it just blanks out. My computer is still running though (it doesnt lock up) because i can still hear my startup sound and i can also shutdown the computer via my keyboard. Why wont these drivers work! anyone else having these problems?
 
Might be the refresh rate of the card. The new drivers like to set the default rate back to 60hz.😱
