One of the more important reasons I'm Feeling the Bern:

From the NBC Dem debate:

Let me give you an idea of how corrupt this system is. Goldman Sachs recently fined $5 billion. Goldman Sachs has given this country two secretaries of Treasury, one under Republicans, one under Democrats.

The leader of Goldman Sachs is a billionaire who comes to Congress and tells us we should cut Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid. Secretary Clinton, and you're not the only one, I don't mean to just point the finger at you, you've received over $600,000 in speaking fees from Goldman Sachs in one year. I find it very strange that a major financial institution that pays $5 billion in fines for breaking the law, not one of their executives is prosecuted, while kids who smoke marijuana get jail time.

I don't think we need to worry about Sanders having Goldman Sachs alumni in his cabinet. I can't say that about Hillary.

kage69 and BoberFett agreeing, dogs and cats living together, mass hysteria!

Right?

Bernie could use this in a commercial.

Seriously, I disagree with you plenty but I know we also agree on a lot (not just Tribes). Even if that weren't the case, I'd still happily sling you beer and various grilled meats if we were shooting the shit in person.

Life would be boring if everyone agreed on everything, and it's too short to hold grudges.

While that $600,000 number is true, Bernie's a broken record. He's said that the last 3 debates, lol. We get it Bernie.

Hillary just needs to keep hammering it home that Bern will raise taxes significantly and that's going to be a wrap.

Bernie just needs to keep calling Shillary a corporate shill.

125 million for speeches, and that's not including the stuff off the books.

Does anyone really believe with the craziness from the republican side, that any of them could or would actually win in November?
Trump, Cruz, Bush, Mario? Really?
With Bernie vs Hillary, both are basically on the same page. And the attacks against one another have been less than earth shattering to say the least.
But the republican side?
Completely a different story there.
All of them preach to a very select minority of Americans, and it would truly be a miracle if any of them could win as much as dog catcher let alone the highest office in the land.
They all want to abolish Obamacare, but I doubt a majority voters would realistically want to see that happen. Even a majority of republicans that vote.
And most of them want to round up illegals like they were cattle, toss up walls like we were communist China, rip away hard fought rights from women and gays, and turn America into some elite country club ran by the KKK.
I seriously doubt America has changed or degraded itself that much during the last eight years.

Either Hillary or Bernie will do just fine.
Republicans are far too occupied with their own shortcomings to focus on the other side.
And I doubt very much that a majority of Americans would want to revert backwards with supporting any of the republican candidates.
Obama was elected twice after all, and the good part for democrats and their two candidates would be continuing the Obama legacy without being Obama.

You wasted a lot of time, typing. The electorate does not want another version of Obama. The Republicans need to quit in fighting. Its not a good show. In the end, the next president is either Trump or Cruz. That is the natural course, when people have had enough of the status quo. We tried the hope and change and we over mortgaged yours and my children's future for another 9 trillion in debt. The only way any of this get's solved is to tax the shit out everyone involved, including you. You want to see mass exodus of companies? Elect Bernie.

Unless you're rich, your taxes won't increase.

Sanders Healthcare plan will save the American family $1200 a year. Politifact.

If you are rich, then your tax increase is well deserved. You had a good run, you should be happy.
Not buying it. Look at the EU countries and Canada that Berniecare will be based off of. The middle class are all paying more in taxes and you cannot implement something as large as true universal healthcare without raising taxes for everyone.

Wait, you're saying elect Trump or Cruz for LESS debt? They have both promised to increase the debt by trillions.

I always find it funny that conservatives are obsessed by the debt when it comes to complaining about liberal policies but then promptly forget about it when it comes to conservative ones.

Red debt is good. "Deficits don't matter." Blue debt is bad. "You're bankrupting America." See, it's easy.

Correct. I remember when Rand Paul was in a debate, and everyone talked about spending on x or y, and he said no. He is now out of the race for many other reason, but at least he put his money where his mouth was on that issue.

They care about debt that they did not cause. The debt they cause is good debt.

It's an interesting two-step. Cut taxes, which increases the deficit, the complain about federal deficits as a reason to cut spending.

It's a pretty smart idea, as if they tried to do it all at once people would rarely go along. This way they conceal the costs of their policies until they are enacted.

Yah, your taxes will go up, but there is no difference between you paying an insurance agency that operates on profit, and the federal govt.

According to politifact Bernie's healthcare plan will save the avg us family $1200 per year.
