desperately seeking some codecs

is it possible to get these codecs (Sorenson 3 and QDesign Music 2, for playback only) ???

I have a bunch of MOV files, and I would really like to watch them on my XBMC instead of inside the gawd-awful quicktime...

unfortionatly you can't play quicktime stuff on XBMC because all codecs that arn't built into mplayer need to be hand coded into which no one has done for quicktime yet.

i figured this much... but I have devised a cunning plan: convert all the MOVs to AVI/ DIVX/ WMV. QT reports the audio codec as "QDesign Music 2", but apparently it's not part of the windows codec system. As long as I have a windows codec to decode these files, I can re-encode them using various tools. I have obtained a copy of "quicktime alternative", which allowed the MOVs to play in WMP9. (edit) WMP reports it's using a MediaMatrix codec to play the audio

The only problem is, the audio skips... So I was wondering if it's possible to obtain the actual "QDesign Music 2" that would work within the winders codec architecture...

anyone, anyone?
