Would PM this, but no PM for Dave.

AFAIK all Requiem Masses use pretty much the same text. It is an ancient, sacred text. It mostly follows the basic Mass. So the words to (for example) Mozart's, Verdi's, and Dvorak's are the same. I found good info and complete lyrics here.

I highly recommend that you buy and listen to the whole thing on CD! Getting pieces of it on MP3 and assembling it won't sound good unless you can get it all from the same recording. It's one of the best pieces of music ever written, don't short yourself on this!

FYI Mozart never competed it. The whole situation in the movie is only partly true. There are actually several extant versions of Mozart's Requiem, which were finished by his students. The most commonly accepted is by Sussmayer.

Lots of info over Mozart and the history of the Requiem Mass K.626 here
