Desperately in need of Word 2007 recovering skills

It seems the automated link checker locked previous posted (must not like .docx format?)

I am running Word 2007, and have been working on this document for a long time. word crashed, and now gives me the message:

The Office Open XML file SE310 Proj.docx cannot be opened because there are problems with the contents.
Details:
Unspecified error
Loaction: Part: /word/document.xml, Line 2, Column: 65336

I have tried to find autosaves and other backups, but seems Word 2007 deleted those, I went into the document.xml file but was unable to find any problems.
The document is completed, and due by 5pm Eastern time.

If any could fix it you would have my eternal gratitude, and I will see if I can return the favor
