Its really not a women's soap opera. Its more a weird satire/mystery like twin peaks.

The plot is pretty good.

I spent a week with my parents over the summer last year. My mom works half a day and when she comes home, she HAS to watch Y&R. Being the good son that I am, I watched it with her.

That being said. Soaps are so fuggin' ridiculous. I hadn't seen Y&R for a whole year, but I went home last week and watched it with my mom. After looking at it for about 10 mins, I had pretty much caught up with a years worth of crap.
