I don't think I can handle any more freaking SNOW. I am so tired of the cold,
so tired of almost falling on ice multiple times each week. Tired of gray skies.
Tired of being stuck in the house :(

Ahh, it was Sunny and 77 here today. :)

California sucks, except for the weather.

I'm so depressed that it wouldn't take much convincing from my in law's to get
me on a plane to visit them in California.

It's snowed all day, it's going to snow all night, in fact all it's going to do here
all week is freaking Snow! I mean don't the heavens ever empty? don't they ever run out and have to restock the stuff ?

Now THAT's depressing. I will never understand why people purposefully expose themselves to that kind of hell. 8-(

Don't move here to the Seattle area -- we only get snow a few days a year at most, but the skies are grey 10 months of the year. And those 3 inches of snow bring the area to a fear-crazed standstill when they arrive.

Meh...I've lived lots of places that suck far worse than Kahleeforneeya does overall.

Where I'm at, we've got >122" of snow so far this season, with February, March, and April yet to go.

I'll see if they'll let me open the cabin door and take a leak as my plane passes over Berkeley this weekend. ;)

I'm in California, and going to Tahoe this weekend for skiing. I'm afraid there's not going to be enough snow (though it's supposed to snow later this week).

Yeah the weather in Boston where I am has been shitty. Its February so I'm usually adjusted to the wet and cold conditions by now. One of these days I'd love to move someplace warmer.

We had biggest snow fall ever in our city, now snowing stopped and it's extremely cold outside.

It's Michigan thats what it does in the winter. I hate winter with a passion. If Old Man Winter were a real person, I'd stab the f'ing bastard till he was died then piss all over his face.

Get up and get out. I have started bowling and I am currently looking for a snowmobile. I need to get out and doing things or I get pissy. I have been going for walks at night. When the sky is clear you can see billions of stars. When it is cloudy it seems eerily quiet and spooky.

It is way to easy to get into the habit of sitting in front of the tube or pc and veg. Movement is the key to getting over the winter blues. There is all kinds of things to do. We went to the Plymouth Ice show and Rochester Fire and Ice. Ice skating at Campus Marstius is nice. We also take our son to the local park where he can sled for awhile. Then we go inside one of the warming lodges and start a fire in the fireplace. We cook hotdogs and marshmellows then sit and chill for awhile by the fire. In White Lake they used to have a Winter Carnival. There is tons of things to do, we drove out to Port Huron via back roads to Lake Huron. Five hours driving thru the countryside and lunch at an unknown cafe in Columbiaville. Lake Huron frozen over with ice stack up 6-10 that is a beautiful crystal clear blue, that is something you would like. Absolutely stunning specially in the sun.

EDIT:

For some damn reason I thought you were in Michigan

I'm pretty sure I'm a New Englander at heart because I love snow, the forest, woodland creatures, and the cold. However, I do get sick of it from time to time... but probably not enough so that I'd want to move somewhere extremely warm.
