I am just in awe of this man... Just an amazing story..

*I was not in the military but I could imagine if I was that after reading this story - I would have to stand and solute this mans courage and heroism and love for his country and his fellow soldiers.

He should have been given many medals, not just the CMH and it wouldn't have seemed out of place if he would have gotten so many considering what he did.

As they mentioned, most CMH winners have one act that stands out to earn that honor but he had many. It's increadible.

I beleive that many "concientious objectors" are just plain cowards. But many are not.
Wasn't the guy from WW1 who was awarded the most medals (Sgt. York) originally a consientious objector?
