An odd thing happened to my Windows 98 after I upgraded from IE4 to IE5. All the icons on my desktop got tossed all over the place. I tried everything several times with the arrange icons options but nothing works. I want to align them at least so they look nice. I have 67 icons now and its pushing them off the screen now. Has this happened to anyone else? Does anyone know how to fix this (without telling me to delete icons or put them in folders)? Thanks
 
I saw this happens sevral times - it is a win98 icon cache bug - try changing your wallpaper (if you have none - put smth...), then reboot - change back to what you had before and reboot - that should fix it...(I hope that you have the same problen that I saw and not smth new/else...)
