Desktop Explorer - cannot delete ??

Never saw this before.

I have 98SE on C: - XP Pro on D: - E: is storage.

All is well, but I have an icon named 'Desktop Explorer' in the 98SE partition. I also have an icon for Internet Explorer from loading my ISP.

The 'Desktop Explorer' cannot be deleted, and it has a design I have never seen. I have loaded this 98SE many times. This is the first time I have seen this.

Anyone know what it is - and should I try to clean it off my desktop ??

Google ?? Well, I use that search site all the time, but this is the first I have ever seen it.

Now - the question. How do I delete it? It will not even allow itself to be moved.

I think he meant to search for it on google...

Might this be it?

If so, it seems to be a legit utility, which mean you should be able to uninstall it.
