Inspired by this thread.

Assuming Windows OS.

As for me:

Right-side
(Vertical)
3rd-party skinned
No destop icons
Minimalistic and lanscape wallpapers (rotated rather frequently)
I use the quick launch bar for everything, but I have recently been playing with yzdock for my most common apps (Explorer, Firefox, OE, HL2, WoW)

Put an option in the poll for landscape (i.e. outdoor shots) wallpaper.

I also use the address bar...autohide at the top. Good for navigating to drives/folders w/ minimal effort.

Done. Sorry about that - I was filling out the poll myself when I noticed I was missing the option for my own wallpaper. ;)

Left side for teh win!

EDIT: Consider changing "Default XP Theme" to "Any Microsoft provided theme" - I still voted this option, even though I'm using the 'Royale' theme from the MS site. It's not third party, after all, and it's not Windows Classic.

longhorn inspirat
yzdock, objectdock and quicklaunch(whichever is convient. i prefer quicklaunch, but i have an autohide taskbar)
single bar on bottom
2 folders, and the 3 icons you can delete from the desktop(ie,recyclebin, help)
scenery background centered on a grey wall
loging looks like default screen but instead of windows xp, it says longhorn inspirat and is shades of grey.

Bottom
1 row
Running Win2k
No icons, all "icons" have been converted to look and act like regular web links (using Active Desktop + Notepad)

Wallpaper is part of my Active Desktop, I have a binary clock, a calander, google search bar, "start run" console, about 20 links, an Opeth Logo and a picture of the goats head from Abigor - Apokalypse.

I use the quick launch bar for pegazus (email), firefox, show desktop and Windows Explorer.

I pretty much start all my games and apps through Windows Explorer ...
