I have no idea about this one, if anyone has used one before let me know. The idea looks good but I don't know if it's really worth it, for the price it's worth a shot though.

I'll post the schematics for this one later, but here's a rough set of instructions that will cost you less:

1. Fill a glass bowl with ice from your freezer
2. Put a little fan behind it
3. Turn the fan on

Yeah good point....lol

I bought this from either OM or OD a couple years ago on their clearance table for $5.

It has only really been usefull on a couple scorching days.
The air blowing past the frozen bottle is marginally cooler than plain air.

For $5, I'd say it's worth it... but definately not $20.

this thing is so stupid. You have to freeze water first then put them in the unit, so maybe putting ice in it? I bet there is only a fan inside. Why don't I just open my refigerator right next to me?

For Twenty Bucks you'd expect a real air conditioner? Now that would be a hot deal!

Designed for ease of use, this little air conditioner utilizes frozen water to create a personal climate-control system anyone can use. Fill the supplied bottle with water, freeze it, place it back inside the chamber and turn the power switch on and enjoy.

Just gotta love those spin doctors... They can make anything sound high-tech. The guy who wrote that prolly wrote for Star Trek.

LOL, what a crock. I was hoping it was at least going to be peltier powered or something.

this thing is garbage. its big and awkward, and very cheap. inside is just a big ugly bottle for water/ice and a fan behind it (like a case fan).
