As time goes by, the amount of electronic equipment in the house grows, and the mess of cables snaking around the house grows with it, mostly tangled around PCs. I want to see what people have done to organise the chaos... or how badly you have failed to cope.

Here's a photo behind the PC. Normally it's flat against the wall, but I pulled it out to expose the cables. There are still places where the cables explode out of control, but parts of it are actually neat now.
I recently put a bit of effort into tidying up behind my PC by:
- Ensuring all the cables are exactly the right length.
- Bundling the ones coming out of the PC into a sort of umbilical cord.
- Moving cables off the floor and instead routing them along walls using pipe brackets.
- Keeping the bundles of cable together with velcro.
