Ok, I used to really know HTML fairly well. Over the years, I got rusty because I put it off. I met a lot of friends through AOL a few years back, and now I used to be better them then in HTML. They've now surpassed me. I know nothing, and two of them are well off enough to buy a new car today without having problems for paying for rent or anything else.

Anyways, I am in the process of putting together a site aimed toward graffiti. Now I'm having a problem making a layout. Can anyone give me some pointers?

Like do you usually make ONE huge .jpg and then cut it up using the slice tool in photoshop?

I ask my friend and he tells me that he can't help me because there is no such thing as "steps" when you're creating a website/layout.

Please help me out here, I'm stuck in a hole and don't know where to start.

Thanks!

Yeah what i ususaly do is make one big photoshop image of the file, then i drag out the rulers cut it real nice and then use dreamweaver and notepad to do the html. Best thing is to look at stuff for ideas look around for colors u want...draw some sketches...

When i think of graffitii i think of like a grungey colored website like blacks, copers, browns.... then i think of somekinda spray can near the logo.....

do u do grafitti? or know anyone? ask tehm to make u a nice logo :)
