Designer chocolate flavored protein + Ovaltine = good

The chocolate tastes a little sour to me, though not as bad as the french vanilla (echhh). So I tried adding ovaltine. 1 tablespoon for every scoop of the protein is what I used.

I find steak a more tasty protein source. Or just cow, go out to the country and eat one while its sleeping some time, good protein+exercise=something else.

ovaltine? You might as well use Nestle Quck. Almost as much sugar. Bla!

Sugar makes it tasty.

Yeah you're kind of defeating the whole purpose of eating right when you load a protien shake with sugar...

Why do they call it Ovaltine? The jar is round, the glass you drink it from is round. They should call it Roundtine.

I just buy egg protein, it's like $11 for a 2.5 pound container and no carbs so you get just plain old protein. If I want flavoring I add a banana or some chocolate syrup.

Also buy carbo fuel for before and after my workouts, it's medium chain carbs that give you nice smooth energy.

I've got both Vanilla (I mix it with mangoes) and Bavarian Chocolate, and they are both amazing. $35/5lb.

Rob

if it's the same stuff, it's $18 at costco

I doubt it's $18 for 5lb at Costco; if Costco sells it (not sure, I haven't checked recently), it's probably $18 for 2lb.
