Desert Combat Help!!!

Ok..when I play Desert Combat, I jump in the game and everything is hunky dory until, I get in a plane or chopper and somebody or me starts firing. All of a sudden my game starts to chunk up bad!!! I'm talkin like less than 5 fps while shooting. Then when there is no action going on then the game goes back to normal again. Any ideas of what it could be?? I know its not my specs cause I've got a killer machine. Please help??

I'm using drivers 67.03.
 
i know...i'm sorry for the double threads, when I posted it, my screen just went blank so I went back and tried to submit again.
