Are the jets faster than in Operation Flashpoints? Guess the maps are smaller in BF1942 so even same speed would be a problem!

The jets may seem fast, but that is usaully cause the maps are too small. On El Alemein, for example, the jets are fine casue there is a lot of room. As soon as the custom maps start arriving, it will be a lot easier.
 
do you have a joystick? I think they are hard with a keyboard..but it's not too bad with a joystick.
