A cookie isn't the right icon for the perfect pizza. Maybe beer, which goes really well with pizza?

I know they make "cookie pizzas" as a novelty dessert, but that's not my perfect pizza.

Lots of quality cheese and toppings, not too much dough, not smothere in sauce but not too little sauce either, served by a naked babe.

Pineapple, ham, and bacon pizza with a good amount of sauce, new york style. And make it hot!

Stuffed crust no matter what. Best thing a pizza could possibly have. Any company that doesn't make it is pure garbage. Any pizza with it is better than any pizza without it. Anyone who disagrees is wrong.

As for toppings, the various meats that usually go on pizza are great. I love pepperoni and sausage. Fruit does not belong on pizza. Cheese is amazing, all kinds of it, lots of it. Garlic sauces and seasonings are excellent.

Thin, homemade crust with a thin layer of seasoned ricotta as the bottom layer. On top of that goes wild mushrooms that have been sauteed in a little butter, with s&p, some fresh tarragon, and a splash of sherry. Top off with some fresh, grated pecorino, then drizzle with truffle oil when it comes out of the oven.

ZOMG so yummy. I need to make this again!

Wood fired with garlic and spinach. Oh, and a cold Blue Moon on the side.

Salad? There are no greens, aside from a little tarragon in the mushrooms.

You have no soul.

Maybe it's more of a southern thing to eat ranch with EVERYTHING.

Sauce: heavy garlic with tomato chunks, almost like a marinara. No tomato paste or sweetness at all
Cheese: Completely melted mozzarella with a scattering of small brown/black scorch marks
Crust: Thin base with a small, chewy crust with a crispy outside
Toppings: Bacon, pepperoni, breaded eggplant, and onions (and maybe a little green peppers)

Ranch pretty much is good with everything. Especially pizza crusts. :)

Pepperoni, cheese, sauce, and crust. Specifically of the California Pizza Kitchen variety.

Simple yet perfect.
