Derek Jeter's final at bat at Fenway..

BUTCH1

I'm not a baseball fan really, and definitely not a Yankees fan as I'm in Rays Land, but Jeter is a class guy.

/salute

what's so great about him?

Thanks 😳

It's a dirty job but someone has to do it.

I'm personally a Buccs fan NFL, I feel the same way like it's rebuilding again with Lovey.

They currently are going through that losing ever game at the end thing again 😛

Cept the first Atlanta one, least they improving.

Man I'm fucking old. Seems like yesterday it was 1996 and I watching him play in the WS as a kid. First rate player. He will be missed.

I find Jeter's successful last at bat in NY and his last career at bat in Boston 'suspicious', for lack of a better word. Let's just say there are ways to tie ones name with history, and pitchers aren't idiots. (Not to mention, being in good graces with the powers that rule the NY Yankees payroll can't be a bad thing.)

With that mudflinging aside, as I expect some to percieve the reality of it, props for Jeter's highly successful and career and clutch performances during big games. I wrote him off as just a pompous douchebag early, but conceed, his game and leadership stood the test of time, and he's a very wothy HOF inductee.
