It is universally accepted internationally that the US Dollar is going to collapse by the end of September 2008.
LAWLS. Is it now.

Yes.
Quick, time is running out: link

Since the bailout failed, looks like this isn't going to happen on schedule. Crisis averted!

Except that oil isn't decreasing, but please carry on.

So you're saying that the amount of oil in the world is being replenished over time?

Don't worry OP, the Yellowstone super volcano is fixing to erupt, and make the USA into a LAVA bubble bath! :p

And then a giant asteroid will smash into the earth right after the large hardon collider is finally fired up to full gravitational power! ;)

I'm saying in, say, four years its production will be more oil per day than it is now.

Hey...
We've ALL been told by every economist during the last 10+ years to
NOT use credit cards, but use cash and avoid credit.
And if you can not afford it, do not finance it.

NOW, all of a sudden, we?re all told we should be worried "what if" we can not charge our gas, food, everything in our daily life.

I think it would be healthy for a total economic "adjustment".

During the depression, bread cost a few pennies, because no one could afford
anything but pennies. Prices dropped.
We all know a house worth $50,000 in 1990 should NEVER value at $120,000 in 2008.
This insane appraisal hike was just greed and game playing by financial institutions
and states to collect higher taxes from home owners.

Yeah we all felt good our house was now worth +200% on paper, but NOW we
all realize the hard way, maybe that $50,000 house is worth more like $58,000
10 - 15 years later.

If they "bailout" then NOTHING will be done to address future greed!!!
We all will be in the exact same boat 3 to 5 (of less) years from now.

We need a depression, to force a total "adjustment" world wide, back to reality.

Well it bottomed at -550, below 9700 and now back above 9800.

We'll see if there is enough AT buyers to get it back over 10K by the end of the day.

My life is so boring and so empty, so full of meaningless values that a disaster looks to me to be very inviting. Maybe with intense misery I might feel something.

Before the stock market issues this week it was turning on the LHC that all the dimwitted monkey fuckers here were worried about ending the world.

Now it is a total economic collapse that will drive everyone out of their homes and into soup lines. I thought only McCowen was stupid enough to believe and post this shit.

Get a grip...the world is not going to end. The United States is not going to become a 3rd world country and here's the important part for you mouth breathers....American Idol will be back on soon so you can go back to watching something that your tiny brains can actually comprehend.

I deposited $44,990.92 into my savings account yesterday afternoon. I have no fear of the bank failing or being unable to withdraw it any day I choose.

I have an idea for you Printer Bandit....try finding a reputable source for your economic news. For some reason I get the feeling that the forums at www.doomers.us are not the best place for financial advice.

Shiner, if I could I would bare your children. :D

Real suffering is a great purifier. This nation could use some.

I'm sitting here scratching my head trying to figure this one out. Why would anyone actually root for 'suffering'?

No one really understands what they have until they have suffered. I think this is what the poster meant.
