*sigh*

Suddenly, Vegas is looking significantly less glamorous.

I was going to drive out and meet up with some friends this upcoming weekend... one friend in particular... and I just discovered they won't be coming out after all.

Long story, but basically... my "friend" is casual acquaintances with my ex, who (very) recently discovered our "friendship". By reading through my diary, but that's a whole 'nother story.

My ex called up my friend, bitched him out, said he'd beat the crap out of him the next time he sees him, and ended the conversation with "Die slow, b!tch."

Stupid boys and their stupid basic-instinct-resort-to-violence tendencies.

So the hotel rooms have been paid for (by me)... in the Venetian and the Tropicana... and I'm left all alone.

I think I'm going to turn this into an all-empowering Girls' Weekend Out In Vegas. I think my friends Ruby, Jackie, and Tonya will be up for a road trip this upcoming weekend.

But yeah... this sucks.

oy...that sucks, yeah...but if it's just a girls-out weekend, there are so many things you can do differently. Just let completely loose and forget about that friend, and that ex.

It is "Sin City", after all. 😀

i think the girls weekend out is a good idea, make sure you have plenty of pillow fights and take lots of pics 😉 have a fun weekend.

Make new freinds, ones that are less childish.

I know. Sometimes, I feel like I'm reliving high school with some of these people... a year out of college, it's getting very old, very fast.

A number of the people I've befriended here never graduated from high school (never mind college), and sometimes (unfortunately), it shows in their behavior. (note: I also have friends who never graduated from high school who are extremely mature/articulate, but they are in the minority)

What's their new logo... whatever happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas?

Yeah. I'll do the best to make the most of my situation... hopefully the girls can come, and I'll be sure to take lots of pics. 🙂 Thanks guys.

Your vega trip sounds way too complicated. Tell your friends where and when you will be and that if they want to join you, they need to make arrangements for themselves. Concerning your ex...tell him to crawl into the hole he came out of.

/fatherly advice mode off/

go have fun in vegas!

Thanks, Dad. 🙂 Advice to be heeded.

i would tell your friend not to be such a wimp. that other guy is probably all talk anyways. tell him you'll make it worth the risk. 😉
