Music for the Masses = pure win.

Before that each album had tracks that shined, but MFTM was excellent from front to back, imo. Interestingly, it was the first CD I ever bought (yeah, I was a little late to the party :p)

Welcome to the '80s. :p

Seriously, the later you go, the worse the albums get.

Speak and Spell through Violator were great albums. Songs of Faith and Devotion and Ultra were meh. Barely listened to the next two. How was the last one (Sounds from the Universe or something)?

Speak & Spell is/was an all time classic for sure.
For some reason I always had a soft-spot for "101" too... the double live TAPE :)

Sadly, I only have the first four albums on cassette, so I don't listen to them as much anymore. Need to either record them onto my PC (or buy them again, but I'm probably too cheap to do that). I've actually got 101 on CD (2CDs as well) and you're right, it's a great compilation. I pop it into the CD player every so often and give it a listen, just so I'm not listening to everything through headphones and my phone.

I too was going to post this, but I too was busy attending my last DM concert back in 1995.

As I child of the 80s, I collected the albums and the garb as they became available. I did so even in the 90s. However, when Ultra came out I couldnt listen to any of it and figured 15 years of fandom was enough.

I still listen to DM but nothing from Ultra forward. :'(

Was anybody else thinking that guy in the fourth video was gonna try to put the moves on that horse?

Anyway the first song is alright. The rest blow.
