Old Spice regular deodorant 4 life.

I also don't like preventing myself from sweating. Plus alot of girls I know like that "manly" mixture of sweat+deodorant smell after a basketball game. Shouldn't be smelling all rosy sweet after something like that.

I thought all anti-perspirants were also deodorants, but not the other way around.

According to Wikipedia:
"Deodorants are substances applied to the body mainly to reduce body odor which is caused by the bacterial breakdown of perspiration. A subgroup of deodorants are "antiperspirants", which prevent odor and reduce sweat produced by parts of the body. Antiperspirants are typically applied to the underarms, while deodorants can also be used on feet and other areas in the form of body sprays."

So I guess what I thought is correct.

I switch randomly, currently using Arm & Hammer AP and it seems to be working well. It's almost 20% aluminum though, not like I care.

Do you honestly use neither? I cant imagine anyone over the age of 13 not needing some protection. Im curious, if this is the case for you, how do you do it? Do simply not perspire at all?

Some people don't smell bad when they sweat. I generally don't. It's usually certain foods that make me stinky. I do wear deodorant(as noted earlier), but it's more for insurance than anything.

Maybe I could see some women getting away with no protection, but men give off odors that are supposed to signify their presence in the animal kingdom. I think we are supposed to smell bad to other men. Just a thought. ;)

i seem some that say just plain "deodorant" and some that say both "antiperspirant" and "deodorant".

i thought antiperspirant stopped wetness and deodorant killed the smell.

I once tried to put antiperspirant between my ass cheeks so that my SO wouldn't cringe when tossing my salad. That was a day of fail.

Most products out there are both...
I LOVE the Secret Clinical Strength stuff. They have it in a mens formula with Degree.
